eBay announced it has registered its 10,000th nonprofit with Giving Works, eBay's dedicated program for charity listings. Since launching in November 2003, Giving Works has enabled nonprofits to raise funds through eBay auctions.

eBay said to celebrate the milestone, the eBay Foundation will give a gift of $2,500 to the 10,000th eBay Giving Works nonprofit participant - The Lollipop Theater Network. This donation will support the organization in their mission to help hospitalized and chronically ill children by bringing the magic of movies to their bedside.
