eBay has launched a new version of ProStores, its ecommerce hosting solution. Release 8.0 features a revamped user interface and redesigned Store Design module. Highlights of the new version include design recommendations, easier editing of store templates, customizable Store Settings view and a redesigned help module. eBay officially launched its ProStores service in June 2005 and is based on ecommerce software it acquired from Kurant Corporation.
