Fees and Fraud Remain eBay Sellers' Biggest Concerns

An AuctionBytes survey found that fees and fraud remain the biggest concerns to eBay sellers. Non-paying bidders and buyers followed as the third biggest concern about selling on online auction sites. The survey of AuctionBytes' newsletter readers was conducted in early March and was a follow-up to a initial survey conducted in September 2006.

Over 700 readers responded to the survey, which also asked on which marketplaces sellers currently sold, and where they intended to sell in 6 months. Many results from the March survey reveal similarities to the previous survey, conducted in response to eBay's "Store to core" messaging and fee increases.

Survey results were published in the March 18th issue of AuctionBytes-Update, available online.
