eBay UK Makes Changes as Part of Effort to Improve Buying Experience

eBay UK announced it has made changes to the bidding and buying process to make it easier for buyers to place a bid or buy an item. eBay will display Gallery photos when buyers go to confirm their bids, and eBay will prompt buyers when buying multiple items to avoid accidental Buy It Nows (when buyers accidentally click Buy It Now more than once.)

eBay will also display the average selling price for an item if a buyer's bid is significantly below the average selling price for that item. This will only be included on items where the seller's listing was created using Pre-Filled Item Information. Items with the same Pre-Filled Item Information are identical or closely-related items and can be compared to, eBay said, work out a reasonably accurate average price.
