eBay is retiring some tools and announced new features on its eBay Stores Promotion Boxes. The company reminded sellers on Monday that it is retiring the old version of Turbo Lister and Seller's Assistant products this week on April 4th.
Some sellers report major problems trying to get Turbo Lister 2 working, and one user started a petition thread on March 1 on the Turbo Lister boards to ask eBay not to retire the tool. As late as Monday sellers were still reporting problems with getting the new version to work on their computers.

eBay also announced it has simplified the set-up process for a Promotion Box, making it faster and easier to create powerful Store merchandising.
It also added two new Promotion Boxes display types for use with auction-style or fixed-price listings: a slideshow and countdown. The countdown promotion box is animated and counts down the time left in the listing.
