eBay Australia has launched a new category for listing services and is letting sellers list in the category for free through April 30, 2007. eBay Services listings can be listed using the Classified Ad format with a 28 day duration (the Classified Ad format is also available in the U.S.). Or, sellers can pay a flat fee of $5 to list a service in an Auction or Buy-It-Now format (with a 3, 5, 7 or 10 day duration), with a $5 flat-fee commission if the item sells.
eBay Australia has a list of categories within Services that includes hair styling, tree lopping, catering and food, and automotive mechanics (http://services.ebay.com.au).
Only registered members of eBay.com.au with an address in Australia qualify for the promotion. All other fees apply, including applicable Final Value Fees, see website for details and restrictions.
