Online auction site eBid.net is offering US and Canadian users of Yahoo Auctions a special offer to entice them to join. Yahoo Auction users can upgrade to a lifetime Platinum account membership on eBid.net for free, a $99.99 value. The offer comes as Yahoo closes its US and Canadian auction sites.

The company said users can import their Yahoo Auctions feedback into eBid by registering and emailing a screenshot from their Yahoo Auctions log-in area showing their feedback page to yahoo_offer@ebid.net along with their new eBid username. The offer lasts until June 3rd, the last day Yahoo Auction sellers are allowed to list items.
