eBay Australia is holding a promotion to generate interest in its new services category. Sellers can launch in the eBay Services category through a classified advertisement or in the Buy It Now or Auction format. The promotion, announced on Wednesday, lets users look for a listing with a "secret service" symbol for a chance to win a refrigerator, washing machine, oven or dishwasher.

eBay launched the Services category in April (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y07/m04/i02/s02).

The promotion runs through the end of May.
