HammerTap will integrate its market research software with eBay's ProStores web-hosting service. HammerTap market research will give ProStores merchants data on shoppers' buying habits on eBay, allowing them to use the information to help their eBay sales - and their own ProStores-powered websites. The integration is available within the ProStores solution.

HammerTap spokesperson Jen Cano said, "This integration is the first of its kind for any eBay market research tool. We are breaking new ground to bring online merchants simpler and more relevant research than ever before."

After importing a client's inventory list, HammerTap organizes the products into categories for easy reference. ProStores merchants can then easily generate research reports for specific products, bypassing several steps in the research process.
