eBay Australia is running a promotion for listings in the Services category, which it launched in April. During the promotion, which runs July 7 - 9, 2007, eBay will waive the fees to list eligible items in the Services category. Sellers must be a registered member of ebay.com.au with an address in Australia. All other fees including feature fees (aside from Gallery, Subtitle and Listing Designer), final value fees, reserve price fees and PayPal fees will still apply, see website for details and restrictions.
Sellers on eBay Australia are allowed to list in the Services category in the auction or Buy It Now (BIN) formats as well as the Classified ad format. Auction and BIN formats in the Services category have a 3, 5, 7 or 10 day duration and cost $5 to list and incur a $5 flat-rate final value fee. Classified ads have a 28-day duration and cost $19.95 in the Services category with no final value fee. All formats in Services include a gallery, subtitle and listing designer features at no extra charge (http://pages.ebay.com.au/services/services-faqs.html).
