Amazon.com launched on July 10 a new section on its Amazon Marketplace Seller Discussion Boards, this one devoted to developer support. The section includes areas to talk about three APIs, providing information about the API, general information and a place for developers to ask questions.
One board is for sellers and developers who are interested in the Amazon Inventory Management (AIM) API. AIM provides a secure and automated method to upload inventory and manage orders on Amazon.com Marketplace. Another board is for sellers and developers who are interested in the Event Notification Service (ENS) API. Using ENS, developers' software applications can retrieve notification about events in their accounts, such as order notifications. The third board is for sellers and developers who are interested in the Seller Central SOAP API, which provides a secure and automated method to upload inventory and manage orders for the "Selling on Amazon" platform.
The Amazon Marketplace Seller Discussion Boards also has a section called Amazon Announcements and one called Seller Discussions, home to one of the most popular areas called Seller Soapbox where sellers sound off on everything from Amazon policies and online book selling to politics and pop culture.
