eBay announced on Wednesday morning that its Listing Designer tool was unavailable. Sellers who use the tool said the glitch made their templates and photos in live auction listings disappear. Sellers discussed the problem on multiple threads on the Technical Issues forum for about 6 hours on Wednesday (http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=1000547557). The problem appeared to be resolved for those users around 5pm Eastern.

At 9 pm Eastern, eBay posted an update on its System Announcement Board: Most of today's issues with Listing Designer have been resolved, and new listings that use Listing Designer are appearing properly. Some members may continue to experience difficulties with existing listings created during our earlier issue, such as not seeing multiple pictures below the item description. We're working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, but it may take a couple of days as our systems catch up with the backlog.
