eBay told users on Tuesday that its cross-promotions feature was not working. The company said it is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The optional feature helps sellers market their other items to shoppers - when a buyer shows interest in one of their items, four of the seller's other items are promoted to the buyer in a display entitled, "See more great items from this seller." The cross-promotions display appears when a buyer bids on an item; a buyer wins an item; or when a buyer views an item from a seller with an eBay Store.
