AuctionPAL launched a service that helps users to sell items online using three options - self-service ("Online"), with phone assistance ("Assisted"), or through an in-person visit from an expert ("Agent"). The company recently completed a beta program and will focus initially on the Boston market. AuctionPAL's commission rates vary from an introductory rate of 20 percent to 35 percent.

AuctionPAL CEO Maureen Ellenberger said, "Our goal is to make it really simple for users to sell online." The company was founded by Drew West and says it closed a Series A round of financing in March.
