Vendio has launched a new research service for eBay sellers to help them optimize their listings and make inventory acquisition decisions. Research Insight is available through Vendio's existing Research service for $24.95/month and allows eBay sellers to research 90 days worth of eBay auction data.

Sellers who subscribe to Vendio Sales Manager may also subscribe to Research Insight for an additional $24.95/month. The integration allows sellers to evaluate their entire inventory to determine the average selling price and sell-through rate for each item and optimize their listings. Sellers can do the research in bulk, rather than researching each item individually.

A Vendio spokesperson said the information gleaned from using the new service can help their Sales Manager customers determine which items to list in auction format versus Store format. She said all Research Insight sellers can take a list of items from suppliers, plug them into the tool, and determine which items are worth acquiring and listing on eBay and in which format, based on past sales performance.
