eBay UK told users it would change the way prices of overseas items are displayed on eBay.co.uk. Previously, items listed on other eBay sites had their price displayed in their original currency on eBay.co.uk. Going forward, the prices of international items on eBay.co.uk will be shown in pounds sterling, but in italics. eBay UK told users in an announcement it hoped the change would make it easier for buyers to compare the prices of overseas and UK items, while still making clear which are which.
