Online Payment Service BidPay Adds Integrated Checkout Options

Online sellers and third-party developers can now integrate BidPay as a payment option on their checkout pages. This means sellers can add BidPay as an alternative payment service across all online marketplaces, from auctions to traditional Web stores. According to the company, the checkout process for BidPay is streamlined, and buyers do not have to register or have an account.

BidPay fees for accepting credit card payments without a merchant account are among the lowest in the industry (lower than PayPal for most pricing tiers), and no merchant account is required. Payments are deposited directly into the seller's bank account.

BidPay said it offers easy integration. Online sellers can take advantage of BidPay Direct Payment tools, from cut-and-paste payment buttons to full access to the Direct Payment API (application programming interface). Third-party developers can use the new tools to integrate BidPay into their shopping carts and ecommerce platforms.

BidPay President David Hansen said, "With BidPay Direct Payments, retailers can build BidPay directly into their own checkout process. Combine that with our lower pricing and the ability to service transactions on both auction and traditional web storefronts, and you have a compelling online payment solution designed to drive incremental sales."
