The Times is reporting UK online auction site QXL Ricardo has received a takeover approach, "which may or may not lead to an offer being made for the company." The newspaper speculates eBay may be a bidder.
QXL Ricardo derives three quarters of its revenue from Eastern Europe, much of it derived from its Polish operation, and is the market leader in Switzerland, according to the paper.
