GoldMail Pitches New Presentation Service at Online Sellers

GoldMail has launched a tool that allows customers to record their voice over visuals and text and share via email or by linking to them. GoldMail says its service is for consumer and professionals, with everyday uses including photo sharing, creating greetings and e-cards, blogs, selling online through auctions or other web postings, fundraising, dating profiles, personal and family announcements.

GoldMail founder David Simpson said online sellers would find the service helpful because it can bring messages to life. GoldMail users record their voice over visuals, including photos of products they are selling. Users then share those messages through email programs or by posting them online to any web page or blog. Sellers can then track their GoldMail messages to see who has opened it.

The tool must be downloaded and installed and is PC-compatible. The company says it is working on a Mac version. The free ad-supported version includes five minutes of recording time per message and 1GB of storage. GoldMail Pro provides 10 minutes of recording time per message, 2GB of storage, and additional reporting and viewing capabilities for a $9.95 monthly subscription fee.
