Oodle, a site that aggregates classifieds from 80,000 websites, announced a new suite of tools and a launched complete site redesign. Oodle 2.0 offers users a personalized home page that includes their recent searches to help them find items - like a car or apartment - that might take weeks to find. Now when users return to Oodle, they can pick up where they left off. Between visits, they can receive detailed email updates of new listings that match their active searches.

"Most people have a love-hate relationship with classifieds," said Craig Donato, CEO of Oodle. "They can find great deals but it's incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Oodle not only gives users access to millions of local listings, it now provides the tools they need to quickly discover great deals."

Oodle has 30 million listings from over 80,000 classified sites and indexes over 500,000 new listings daily. The site attracts over two million unique visitors each month and is available in the US, U.K. and Canada. Shoppers can click directly on ads and be taken to the original listing on the host site. Or they can stay on Oodle and bring up listing details.

A feature called Oodle Insights, available in the Cars, Real Estate, Rentals, Tickets and Pets categories, displays median price and inventory calculations based on a historical data set of similar listings. Oodle also offers fraud warnings to alert users of suspicious listings. Oodle's spam detection automatically deletes listings it determines to be fraudulent and flags listings that seem suspicious.
