Google announced holiday promotions and special offers for Google Checkout buyers, including the opportunity to earn frequent flyer miles. From now until December 31, US residents who register to participate will be able to earn two frequent flyer miles for every dollar spent through Google Checkout. Participating airline reward programs include Alaska Airlines, Continental Airlines , Delta Airlines, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines , US Airways, and United Airlines.

Google Checkout users will also be able to take advantage of a variety of holiday promotions from more than 100 different Google Checkout retailers. These offers range from free shipping to discounts of $10, $20 or $50 off select purchases. Holiday shoppers can learn more about how to take advantage of these promotions on the new Google Checkout holiday page.

Google Checkout has a Purchase History feature to let users access all the information they need about their orders in one place, from any computer, and iGoogle users can now keep track of purchases directly on their iGoogle homepage (http://www.google.com/checkout/gadget.html).
