eBay's Comparison-Shopping Engine Sees Growth on Cyber Monday

eBay reported that Shopping.com's traffic to its merchants on Cyber Monday 2007 increased 28 percent compared to last year. Traffic to merchants for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Black Friday through Cyber Monday, was up 30 percent year-over-year.
eBay, Shopping.com and PayPal expect to see the busiest online shopping day come later in the season. PayPal data shows that holiday shopping activity each season is the busiest on the second Monday in December, rather than Cyber Monday.
