eBay developer Terapeak announced it has appointed Fred Speckeen as President and CEO. Terapeak is a member of the eBay Developers Program and is an eBay Certified Solution Provider. Terapeak and DataUnison are brands of Advanced Economic Research Systems (AERS Inc.), which has developed advanced research tools for analyzing online consumer transaction data.

Terapeak co-founder and Executive Vice President of Business Development Anthony Sukow said, "With the rapid growth of the Terapeak and DataUnison branded businesses, we wanted to bring in a new CEO with the right combination of experience and skills to help us leverage the multitude of opportunities we're facing in the online commerce space. From providing timesaving tools for online buyers and sellers, to real-time online transaction data analytics services and targeted advertising, Terapeak and DataUnison are moving quickly, and we needed someone who could keep up with that pace. We feel we have found just that person in Fred."

Speckeen brings two decades of VP and CEO level experience gained internationally across the technology, media and semiconductor fields in hands-on roles spanning product management, sales, marketing, and technology licensing. He was most recently Director of Business Development - a global role with TC Group A/S, providing digital audio technologies, products and IEEE1394 chip solutions for professional and commercial audio markets.
