eBay Stores Benefit from Usability Change

eBay has tweaked its search function to the benefit of Store listings - although eBay Store owners are debating how much additional exposure this will net them. Now after a buyer conducts a search on the core eBay.com platform, if they click on Stores link in the global header they will be taken to search results for that with listings from only Store sellers. Formerly clicking on the Stores tab, even after a search, would take users to the Stores Hub where they would have to enter their search term again.

Some Storeowners posting in the eBay forums were happy with the news, others were skeptical shoppers would ever realize eBay had added the functionality.
