Overstock.com Auctions told sellers it would be promoting auction items that are a fit for Valentine's Day. If sellers with appropriate items want the listings to be incorporated in the search results of homepage and email marketing placements, they should include the phrase "Valentine's Day Gift" in the title or subtitle of their listings. Overstock.com warned it would monitor the listings for keyword spam.
