Infopia announced it is releasing a new platform for online merchants, providing them with new website features for their websites. The new platform is fully integrated into Infopia's online multi-channel selling capabilities. According to the company's announcement, "The flexibility and openness of the new website platform, combined with Web Services, makes it possible to create more robust integrations with other business solutions. This will allow merchants to optimize their website not only as a standalone operation, but also as an integrated part of their online business strategy. The Professional Services department at Infopia will leverage an established set of best practices to help clients optimize access to both buyers and conversions on their websites."
Site-specific functionality associated with the platform launch will focus on conversion and traffic optimization, faster Web 2.0 compliant design and deployment of website content, and compatibility with all major analytics providers.
The new website platform has been in beta testing for several months with key clients and will be generally available with Infopia's Spring release.
