eBay users will have an opportunity to ask company executives questions at Wednesday's Town Hall meeting. During these monthly events, managers from eBay and PayPal answer questions submitted by users via phone and email.
This will be the first Town Hall meeting held since eBay changed the way search results are displayed on the site, using relevancy - called "Best Match" sort - rather than sorting by time or price. At a recent conference of Internet merchants, sellers had many questions about how the new Best Match rankings would affect their listings and sales (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y08/m03/i04/s02).
The Town Hall is also the first since the seller boycott held last month to protest a swath of changes to the site announced on January 29 (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y08/m02/i26/s01). Executives will likely find themselves on the hot seat, even more than usual.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday from 3:30 - 5:00 PM PT and can be heard on through an audio webcast.
