Alibris has promoted 2-year veteran Liz Derr from Vice President of Engineering to Chief Operating Officer. Derr will continue to lead the company's Engineering department and will now manage Alibris' partnerships with online and traditional retail partners, such as Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Chapters/Indigo, and Half.com by eBay. She will also head the company's customer service organization, which supports retail customers and thousands of independent book, music, and movie sellers.
