eBay has opened registration for its eighth annual user conference. eBay Live 2008 takes place in Chicago, Illinois from June 19-21, 2008. In addition to classes and an exhibit area, this year's event will include a Sourcing Pavilion hosted by ASD/AMD where attendees can connect with product-sourcing companies.
This is the first eBay Live conference since Meg Whitman's retirement, and new President and CEO John Donahoe will give the key address. eBay is expecting 10,000 attendees. Registration costs $120, early registration is $75.
eBay's Developer Conference takes place June 16-18 and costs $595, with an early registration fee of $350. This year's Developer's Conference will have four tracks: Business and Entrepreneurship; Affiliate and Buyer Tools; Seller, Merchant, and Payment Tools; and Web 2.0 and Web Development.
