Amazon Alliance Becomes 'Seller Performance'

Amazon.com is changing the email address of its seller monitoring department from Amazon Alliance to Seller Performance. As of March 25, 2008, the alliance@amazon.com email address has been replaced by seller-performance@amazon.com.

Amazon said the seller-performance email address is only for inquiries regarding performance. Reports about violations of Community Rules should still be sent using Amazon's "Contact Us" form.

Amazon Alliance is a controversial department with the power to suspend sellers, similar to eBay's Trust & Safety department. Many sellers complain that once Alliance has kicked a seller off, it's impossible to get reinstated on Amazon.com.
