eBay Improves Listing Removal Procedure

eBay will no longer zap listings that are removed for certain policy violations, making it easier for sellers to recover listings. Because eBay has removed such listings from the site in the past, sellers were unable to make the required corrections and relist. Instead, sellers had to recreate the listings from scratch. On Tuesday, eBay said that listings removed for certain policy violations would instead be moved to the "Unsold" section of My eBay with a clear indication that the listing was canceled.

The feature had been originally announced on eBay Australia in February, but had not actually rolled out (http://www2.ebay.com/aw/au/200802281719092.html).
