eBay's Meg Whitman on the Presidential Campaign Trail

Reading AuctionBytes: eBay's Meg Whitman on the Presidential Campaign Trail

With less than a week to go before officially stepping down as eBay President and CEO, Meg Whitman has already left San Jose behind her on the road to the White House - Republican John McCain's road, that is. Whitman was a chief fundraiser for Mitt Romney's campaign, and she recently took on the same role for McCain's campaign after Romney dropped out of the race.

Whitman was at McCain's side this week as he campaigned in several states, and the two were joined by Mitt Romney on Thursday as the former rival threw his fundraising support behind McCain.

Whitman is rumored to have political aspirations of her own, with talk of a run for California governor in her future.
