AhTXT: Instant Alerts for eBay-Addicted Sellers

ahTXT recently launched an application that sends reports of eBay seller activity directly to a seller's cell phone. Sellers can receive notifications of sales, offers, questions and feedback events in real-time directly to their phone.
The service is free and was recently written up on the eBay Developer blog (http://ebaydeveloper.typepad.com/dev/2008/03/track-your-auct.html).
Company co-founder Neil Mansilla told AuctionBytes, "We developed the application out of necessity, but in its first incarnation, it was just a little tiny script that we threw together, that broke often, and was never intended for use by anyone else. However, when I was at a social gathering, I received several text messages from my little bot.. one question, one best offer, and one sale. I knew there was another woman there that sold things on eBay and I asked if she would have any interest in receiving messages about her eBay sales activity, and after showing her my recent messages, she was very excited to try it out. That's how it was born into a Web app (several months later, that is)."
Mansilla said ahTXT has a lot of innovative development plans for sellers and buyers in the future, including applications beyond eBay.
