Online auction site PropertyRoom.com has named PJ Bellomo its new CEO. Bellomo joined the company in December 2006 and held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Previously he was COO at Commerce5 and has held ecommerce, supply chain, and consulting positions at Avnet, AD Little, iSuppli and Vcommerce.

Kevin Lane, chairman of the board, said in a press release, "In 16 months PJ personally led our team to improve service quality to law enforcement, enhance marketing and merchandising, launch an automobile auctioning service, overhaul the merchant program and release a new auction website. As for results: revenues are up; costs are down. It is with confidence that we name PJ the new CEO."
