eBay is introducing two new features on its site to make the offer of free shipping "even more effective in attracting buyers." When sellers select standard free shipping in their listings, a new "Free Shipping" icon will appear in those listings.

eBay has also launched a "Free Shipping Sale" feature on Markdown Manager so sellers can offer a limited-time Free Shipping sale in their eBay Stores. Sellers can choose to offer the free-shipping discount to specific listings and categories or across all their Store Inventory or Fixed Priced listings. The Free Shipping icon will appear on the item page.
