uShip, an online marketplace for shipping services, registered its 100,000th Transportation Service Provider (TSP) member, the company announced. uShip launched in 2003 and says its early adopters were eBay users seeking affordable ways to ship larger items. Now thousands of businesses and individuals use uShip to move large shipments including vehicles, boats, motorcycles, household goods, pets and livestock, art and more. Members list the items they need shipped and receive bids from thousands of feedback-rated service providers, including movers, carriers, transporters, van lines, freight brokers and independent service providers.
