eBay announced that best-selling authors Seth Godin and Jeffrey Gitomer will speak at the seventh eBay Live Community conference taking place in Chicago, June 19-21, at McCormick Place West convention center. The theme for eBay Live 2008 is "The Power of All of Us." Attendees can network with fellow members, meet tradeshow exhibitors, and attend educational sessions to learn about best practices for buying and selling on eBay. This year's event features the ASD/AMD Sourcing Pavilion featuring wholesalers and distributors.
The conference closing gala features dining, dancing, and a special performance by Grammy nominated artist, Chris Isaak. The registration fee is $100 through May 31, and from June 1-21, registration is $120, which includes classes, access to the Keynote Address delivered by eBay President and CEO John Donahoe and President of eBay Marketplace Operations Lorrie Norrington. A Priority Pass can be purchased for an additional $150, consisting of priority seating at the Keynote Address and lunch with eBay executives, among other benefits.
