Reading AuctionBytes: eBay Australian Sellers Hold June Summit

Two eBay sellers in Australia have organized a summit to be held in June open to all buyers and sellers. Annie Bradley and Stuart Widdicombe are both eBay Education Specialists and PowerSellers. Tony Gattari, former general manager of Harvey Norman Computers, will give the keynote address, and there will be question and answer sessions with Paypal, Auspost, the ATO (Australian Tax Office) and eBay. After the event there is an optional cocktail party where attendees can speak to representatives from those organizations.

Annie Bradley told AuctionBytes the key aims of the summit are to discuss the new changes on the eBay Australia website; learn how to take advantage of all the opportunities available for online sellers; interact with representatives from companies that complement online sales; and learn about solutions to "take your business to the next level."

Bradley said she expects over 100 people to attend the event, noting the venue can hold up to 450. She emphasized that ESS'08, as it's named, is being run by Australian sellers for Australian sellers.
