Moneybookers, one of Europe's largest online payment systems, announced an exclusive partnership with ricardo.ch, a leading auction site in Switzerland, to integrate the Moneybookers solution on its site. Managing Director of ricardo.ch Peter Oertlin said, "Sellers can now accept customer credit cards and domestic bank transfers risk free on our site. Moneybookers has enabled us to give our members a novel and secure payment service and we firmly believe it will help us obtain new customers so as to advance our conversion long-term."
Moneybookers said it guarantees zero chargebacks for merchants, due to extensive and sophisticated risk management measures that incorporate IP address verification, credit history checks and blacklists.
Ricardo.ch has over 1.5 million members and is part of MIH, a sub company of South African media group Naspers. Moneybookers has over 10,000 merchant customers as well as almost 5 million users.
