eBay UK is running a 50-percent off sale on insertion fees for any listing using the Auction-style, Auction-with-Buy It Now or Buy It Now Only (Fixed Price) formats in eligible categories on eBay.co.uk. Items must be listed in tems listed in British Pounds Sterling. The 1-day sale runs on August 7, 2008. All other fees apply, see website for details and restrictions.
eBay UK also announced it would expand the protection offered to buyers and sellers when they use PayPal on eBay, effective October 2008.
