AuctionBytes Launches Free Online Merchant Directory

Reading AuctionBytes: AuctionBytes Launches Free Online Merchant Directory

Seeing the need for a site where online merchants could consolidate all of their selling venues, Steiner Associates, LLC, publisher of AuctionBytes.com, has launched a new online merchant directory called, EveryPlaceISell.com.

"It's hard to ignore the trend that online sellers of all sizes are moving multi-channel," explained David Steiner, President of Steiner Associates, "but we didn't see anywhere that allowed merchants to list all of their sites in one comprehensive listing. This is like a Yellow Pages for etailers."

Shoppers can use the EveryPlaceISell.com (EPIS) directory to find and track their favorite sellers. They may research merchants and visit all of their storefronts and review their reputation on various marketplaces. Shoppers may also save money by purchasing from a seller on one site rather than another.

Buyers who choose to use a payment method that may not be allowed on a particular marketplace can check the EPIS directory to see if the seller offers additional payment methods on other marketplaces.

Sellers interested in creating a listing can visit EveryPlaceISell.com and register. Once their registration is approved, they are instructed on how to create their directory listing. If they have an eBay Store, an Amazon store, an eCrater shop and their own retail site, for example, they may list each of them on their EPIS page, so that shoppers can easily click-through to any or all of them. Merchants may also participate in a special forum for registered users only.

A sample listing of an EPIS directory listing shows a seller who has a presence on eCrater, eBay, Amazon, and his own website. The seller, Justonceonline.com, has added information about promotions currently running on each of the venues on which he sells. A generic listing explaining each field is available on the EPIS site.

EveryPlaceISell.com is completely free to use, and merchants may create a listing for free.
