It's been a turbulent year for eBay sellers. Just last week there were rumors of impending layoffs at eBay, and the important holiday shopping season is rapidly approaching.
It's this environment of uncertainty that eBay is hosting a Town Hall meeting today (September 19, 2008). The meetings are held regularly as an opportunity for eBay buyers and sellers to call in and ask questions of top eBay executives.
eBay users are bound to have questions about the new fixed-price format and its associated fees; the "Best Match" search; new policies, such as specified shipping and return policy; and the Diamond-level PowerSeller pilot program (Operation Catalog).
The meeting can be heard over the Internet by going to the eBay Town Hall page. It runs from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm PST. eBay pre-screens callers and their questions.
