eBay Australia Finished Playground Search Testing
By Ina Steiner

October 16, 2008

Next week, eBay Australia will make its new search the default on eBay.com.au. eBay has been testing its new search on "Playground," an area where users were also allowed to try out the new search.

eBay said with the new search, users can select multiple product options at once and browse by pictures in Window Shopping view, and there would be automatic inclusion of synonyms (e.g. "fridge" = "refrigerator"’).

Users will be able to opt out of the new search by clicking the link at the foot of the search results page.
