ShopSite announced a new release of its ecommerce shopping cart and catalog software for small to medium-sized businesses. ShopSite version 10 has new features including an HTML Editor and integration with Doba's drop-shipping service. The software also allows merchants to display shipping rates from multiple carriers in the shopping cart. Merchants can subscribe for UPS, FedEx, and USPS real-time shipping quotes, then display quotes from each of the services for the customer to select from. Other features include an integrated VAT/GST calculator; a remote orders database; an inventory API (for the Pro version only); and improved PayPal fraud protection.
ShopSite is server-based software that works with existing Web browsers, which means that merchants do not download or install anything on their desktop in order to create and manage a ShopSite store, and it requires no HTML coding.
