eBay Australia informed users on November 11, 2008, that the PayPal eCheck glitch has been resolved. "Any payments impacted by these issues will be released into PayPal account balances within the next 72 hours. If you already received a manual credit for an unclaimed eCheque, we will be reversing the credits once the original transactions have cleared. You should ensure that you maintain a sufficient balance in your PayPal account to cater for this reversal so that it does not result in a negative PayPal balance."
eBay will remove negative and neutral feedback ratings (including low DSRs) on transactions affected by the issue as reported on November 5th on the AuctionBytes Blog. eBay Australia said it would not be able to fully address any negative or neutral Feedbacks for 2 months since buyers have 60 days to leave Feedback from the end of a transaction.
PayPal has not issued an update since it first posted of the problem on November 4 on its Announcement Board.
