Meanwhile, a thread popped up on the eBay discussion boards with some users reporting technical problems with PayPal. The PayPal Announcement Board has no announcement about any problems, but the PayPal blog states:
Early this morning, we made a change to our site that caused some links to PayPal from Web sites such as eBay, merchant sites, blogs, forums, and others to be broken. Though you may receive an error message instead of the intended PayPal page, this does not in any way affect your ability to send and receive payments.

eBay posted a notice on the Systems Announcement Board to alert sellers that some buyer payments are showing as "pending" in sellers' My eBay, even when payment has been completed. Sellers should view their items' true payment status by logging into their PayPal account. eBay is working to resolve the glitch and
