Reading AuctionBytes: RingCentral Survey Reveals Small Businesses Are Cutting Overhead

RingCentral, a hosted business phone service, recently conducted a survey of its small-business customers. The survey revealed they are reacting quickly to Wall Street's economic issues to work more efficiently during tight economic times. Small businesses moving away from a centralized, physical office and are working from home and on the road. The survey discovered that 75% of small businesses have been negatively impacted by the economic downturn, and 72% of small businesses are reducing overhead costs. Nearly a quarter of them is doing so by eliminating the cost of physical office space.

The survey also showed that 50 percent of small businesses are reducing overhead costs by cutting back on business services. More information about the survey can be found on the RingCentral website.
