NextWorth is a service that pays cash for trade-ins of all models of iPhone, iPod and iTouch Apple models - in any condition, from new to broken. The company said its trade-in service has provided consumers a total of one million dollars in return for new or used Apple electronics.
NextWorth gives customers $310 for a iPhone 3G 8GB model in light wear condition, for example, or $380 for a 16GB model. Customers receive a check, Amazon or Circuit City gift card in as little as seven to 14 days, or at participating Circuit City and J&R Computer World stores for immediate in-store credit. Phones given as trade-ins in any condition will be refurbished and resold by NextWorth on sites such as eBay, thereby promoting reuse, or will be sold in parts or disposed of through a certified recycling partner.
NextWorth also announced a partnership with the All Services Exchange Catalog & Online Store, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of troops and providing savings to military personnel and their families. The partnership allows members of the armed services to participate in the NextWorth electronics trade-in program through the AAFES online exchange mall, offering more trade-in cash back for new or used Apple products.
"With the economic crunch and the holidays quickly approaching, consumers are looking for any way possible to save or make some extra money," said Dave Chen, CEO of NextWorth. "Nextworth takes advantage of market values and passes these savings back to our customers in a convenient manner. We are excited to have paid out one million dollars to our customers and have no doubt that we will pay out our next million in an even shorter timeframe."
