Toyota will allow all Toyota Certified Used Vehicle (TCUV) dealerships to showcase certified used vehicle inventory on the eBay Motors Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Showroom. In February, eBay had inked a deal with GM to allow its 3,900 certified used U.S. dealers to list on eBay Motors with no insertion fees. Then in June, eBay launched the CPO Showroom where shoppers could view pre-owned vehicle from Lexus, General Motors and Chrysler from dealers within their local area in a classified-ad format.
Effective December 17, 2008, consumers can search classified listings on http://www.motors.ebay.com/ to view TCUV inventory from Toyota dealerships within their local area. Through the site, customers can educate themselves on the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle program, then connect directly with the dealer to expedite the purchase process.
