Artfact announced that complimentary registration for its Artfact Live online live-bidding platform is now open. The company offers traditional fine auction houses a range of services, including live-bidding through eBay Live Auctions. With the closure of eBay's live-auction platform at the end of the year, Artfact developed its own platform. A spokesperson said, "the first live online auctions were offered in November, simultaneously through eBay Live and Artfact. On December 31, when eBay stops offering live online auctions, they will be held solely through Artfact."
Artfact Live bidders can watch the action on the auction floor with streaming video and audio, and bid live online on fine art, coins, jewelry, toys, stamps, sports memorabilia and more. Artfact Live focuses exclusively on the fine art, antiques, and collectibles market, and never includes industrial, real estate, agriculture or equipment.
Registration for Artfact Live includes a complimentary subscription to one year of unlimited access to the last 12 months of auction results in the Artfact database, representing over 4 million records and $10 billion in realized prices, a $200 value.
